  •  12 Fudge Stripe Cookies

  •  12 Hershey chocolate kisses unwrapped

  •  1 can white frosting

  • food coloring

  • Halloween sprinkles

  • Flip all of your cookies face down (so the stripes are facing down).

  • Add food coloring to the white frosting and mix until you achieve the color you're looking for.

  • Use a butter knife or the back of a spoon to add a small amount of frosting to the bottom of a chocolate kiss. Gently press the chocolate kiss (frosting down) on top of the bottom of a cookie.

  • Pipe additional frosting around the chocolate kiss (if necessary). Decorate with Halloween sprinkles.

Tips & Notes:

  • Store in an airtight container (ideally a taller one, not a plastic bag) for up to a week. After a week throw away! Make this an activity that lasts a while by having kids add sprinkles carefully using kitchen tweezers, chopsticks, or individually with their little fingers! This also means less mess! Store cookies in a cool place at room temperature or if your house is too warm, in the refrigerator. If doing a Halloween party outside when temperatures are warm, place these on a plate on top of a bed of ice or ice packs.
